What You'll Be Doing
- Perform inspections on structural welds in accordance with NAVSEA codes and standards
- Conduct Magnetic Particle (MT), Penetrant (PT), and Visual (VT) testing
- Identify, evaluate, and document weld discontinuities
- Maintain accurate inspection records and reports
Requirements
- Current Level II Certifications in MT, PT, and VT
- Documented classroom training hours (REQUIRED)
- Documented OJT hours (REQUIRED)
- Working knowledge of metal fabrication and construction techniques
- 5+ years experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably a steel fabrication environment (Preference to those who have 3+ years NAVSEA experience)
- Ability to pass a stringent background screening
