About the role

iFLY is a global leader in indoor skydiving, offering thrilling experiences across 19 countries. We seek passionate, energetic Flight Instructors who can guide our customers through the art of indoor skydiving.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver state-of-the-art instruction on indoor skydiving maneuvers, ensuring participants master body positioning, safety protocols, and control techniques.
  • Engage and energize participants with enthusiasm, professionalism, and a passion for flight.
  • Navigate and enforce all safety standards with precision, maintaining a safe environment for everyone.
  • Conduct flight safety instructions, flight techniques, answer questions, and calm pre-flight nerves.
  • Offer constructive feedback post-flight to boost participants' confidence and skills.
  • Promote a cohesive and supportive team environment for maximum efficiency.
  • Stay updated on the latest training tools and techniques to continually enhance both your instructional skills and the overall customer experience.
  • Drive add-on sales by introducing guests to options that enhance their flight, such as additional flight time, high flights, return visits, or media packages.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in a physically demanding role requiring strength and stamina.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Able to maintain great physical condition for long periods of time.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
  • Interest or background in coaching, teaching, and facilitating activity-based or entertainment-oriented roles.
  • Passionate personality with high energy and a positive attitude.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement through training, learning, and feedback.
  • Safety-focused mindset.
  • Ability to work well within a team and maintain positive relationships.

Qualifications

  • Must pass a role-related Post Offer Employment Test (POET) to demonstrate physical capabilities.
  • Medical and physical information will be handled in compliance with applicable laws.

Skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to different learning styles and provide personalized instruction.
  • Knowledge of indoor skydiving techniques and safety protocols.
  • Leadership and motivational skills to inspire and engage participants.

Pay

The minimum hourly rate during the training program is $20.00.

Schedule

As an iFLY Flight Instructor, you will be expected to work weekends and holidays, which are our busiest times.
