About the role

Location: Castro Valley, CA 94546. Start Date: February 23. We are seeking a compassionate and dependable helper to assist a male senior in his 90s who is bed-bound and sleeps most of the time. The role focuses on basic personal care and providing a calm, supportive presence.

Responsibilities

• Perform diaper changes with proper hygiene and care
• Bed rotation/repositioning to prevent pressure sores (every few hours as needed)
• Provide companionship and gentle supervision
• Ensure client's comfort while in bed
• Monitor basic needs and report any concerns to the family
• Maintain a clean and safe care environment

Schedule

Monday and Saturday, 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM (twice a week)

Pay

Helper Rate: $20.83/hr

Requirements

• Patient, reliable, and attentive
• Experience with bed‑bound or elderly clients is highly preferred
• Gentle, attentive demeanor
• Comfortable providing personal care, including diaper changes
• Reliable and able to follow care instructions
