Looking for a caregiving position that fits your schedule while allowing you to make a meaningful difference? ComForCare Home Care is hiring an experienced Caregiver for an afternoon/evening in-home senior care position in Wheaton, Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate one-on-one in-home senior care.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Provide personal care while protecting the client's dignity and independence.
• Assist with mobility, walking, transfers, repositioning, and fall prevention.
• Help with evening meals, snacks, and hydration.
• Provide companionship, conversation, and meaningful engagement.
• Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and household organization.
• Help the client prepare for their nighttime routine.
• Provide medication reminders according to the established care plan.
• Observe and report changes in the client's condition to the appropriate care team.
• Complete accurate documentation of care provided.

Requirements

• Previous professional caregiving experience preferred.
• Experience with senior care, elderly care, in-home care, personal care, companion care, or private duty care.
• CNA, HHA, PCA, or home care experience is a plus.
• Comfortable assisting with personal care and daily living activities.
• Dependable, patient, respectful, and trustworthy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently in a client's home.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Current Auto Insurance.
• Reliable transportation.

Compensation: $17.00 – $20.00 per hour
