Evening & Overnight Caregiver Needed

About the role

We're currently seeking a caregiver with dementia care experience to support a male client. This opportunity offers consistent evening and overnight shifts. The client experiences sundowning, occasional confusion, and wandering behaviors, so we're looking for a patient, attentive caregiver who can provide a calm, reassuring presence while ensuring his safety and keeping him engaged throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Assistance with bathing, dressing, meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, and other daily activities as needed.
• Ensuring client safety and managing sundowning, occasional confusion, and wandering behaviors.
• Providing a calm, reassuring presence and keeping the client engaged throughout the day.
• Supporting outdoor activities and building meaningful connections with the client (including his pet dog).

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in home care, caregiving, or a related field.
• Ability to pass a background check and provide professional references.
• Valid driver's license, car insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Negative results of either a 2‑Step TB Test or a TB Quantiferon Gold Blood Test.
