About the role

Guardian Angel Senior Services is hiring compassionate, dependable caregivers to provide in‑home care for seniors in Pittsfield, MA and surrounding communities. Positions are available for PCA, HHA, CNA, or Homemaker roles, with immediate opportunities for both experienced caregivers and those new to the field. You’ll build meaningful relationships with clients and have the chance to make a difference every day.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and personal care
• Provide companionship and emotional encouragement
• Prepare meals based on client preferences and dietary needs
• Help with light housekeeping and laundry
• Run essential errands when needed
• Provide medication reminders
• Observe clients and report changes to the appropriate supervisor
• Help clients maintain a safe and comfortable home
• Provide respectful, dependable, and compassionate care

Requirements

• Reliable transportation
• HHA or CNA certification welcome (but not required)
• Willingness to learn; no prior experience required

Pay

$18.00 to $20.00 per hour, based on experience, skills, certifications, and qualifications. Qualified new caregivers can earn a $250 sign‑on bonus after completing their first 90 days (requires ≥20 hours/week and no unexcused absences).

Schedule

• Flexible and consistent scheduling opportunities
• Shifts ranging from 2 to 12 hours
• Day shifts, overnight shifts, weekday and weekend opportunities
• Short shifts of 2–4 hours and longer shifts of 8–12 hours available
