About the role
Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records. Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients. May advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention or provide case management.
Schedule
Traditionally Monday–Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm during the academic year.
Pay
Targeted salary range: $49,000–$55,000

Requirements
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Michigan
- Previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience in nursing

- Knowledge of medical diagnosis and treatment, including symptoms, treatment alternatives, drug properties and interactions, and preventive health-care measures
- Customer and personal service principles and processes
- Oral and written communication

- Interpersonal relationship skills

- Ability to document information concisely, completely, and clearly
Qualifications
- Experience providing care in a university health center
- Experience in a primary care office
- Electronic medical records experience
- Experience administering allergy shots
