What You’ll Do

  • Drive market growth: Identify, pursue, and win new Construction Management opportunities with municipal and private sector clients.
  • Expand client relationships: Use local relationships, market knowledge, and industry involvement to strengthen KJ’s presence.
  • Build and lead teams: Mentor staff, support hiring strategy, and scale resources to meet project demand.
  • Lead pursuits and delivery: Manage key projects while guiding pursuit strategy, proposal development, and client engagement.
  • Guide project performance: Oversee scope, schedule, staffing, financial performance, risk, and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 10+ years of relevant Construction Management experience, including business development, project delivery, and team leadership.
  • Technical background: Experience with water, wastewater, stormwater, pipeline, or related infrastructure projects.
  • Licensure: PE license in California required.
  • PREFERRED: Familiarity with alternative delivery methods such as GCCM, PDB, or DB.

Pay

Salary Range for this position is anticipated to be $185,000 to $275,000, and may vary based on education, experience, qualifications, licensure/certifications, and geographic location.

Schedule

This role requires full-time presence on project sites and in the office as needed.
