North Dorset – Nursery Practitioners urgently required

About the role

We urgently require qualified L2 and L3 Nursery Practitioners (and qualified Early Years Teachers) for various short and long-term roles in North Dorset nurseries, supporting young children’s learning and development.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Room Leader and management in providing good quality care and education
• Experience of key groups and effective daily management of the room
• Support children’s learning and development through engaging activities
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
• Observe, assess, and record children’s progress
• Promote children’s welfare and wellbeing at all times

Requirements

• NVQ level 2, 3 or above qualification in Child Care
• Excellent communication skills with children, staff, and parents
• Good working knowledge of EYFS
• Clear understanding of all relevant safeguarding legislation
