About the role

The Motorhand is responsible for safely and efficiently ensuring that regular preventative maintenance and repair activities are performed on the mechanical equipment used in the operation of the drilling rig. The Motorhand works under the direction of the Rig Manager.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventative maintenance and repairs on generators.
• Maintain and service main engines.
• Service air compressors and cold‑start air compressors.
• Maintain the portable water system.
• Inspect and repair the drill water manifold and associated pumps.
• Perform timely maintenance to prevent downtime and ensure continuous, efficient operation of all mechanical equipment.
