Responsibilities

  • Promote Jacobs’ North America Geothermal team capabilities amongst personal client network
  • Support proposal development with task descriptions and manhour estimates
  • Provide advisory and design solutions for geothermal project development and technical delivery as part of our geothermal team
  • Collaborate with our Technical Leadership, Operations, Client Account Managers and sales professionals
  • Support global geothermal engineering teams on projects requiring power plant expertise
  • Mentor Jacobs power plant engineers in the nuances of geothermal design

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Engineering
  • 10+ years of experience in geothermal power plant engineering
  • Proven ability to engage with clients, develop relationships and win work, and then deliver innovative solutions providing value to both the client and provider
  • Demonstrated skills on concept and developed design optimization programs to guide sound technical guidance for decision making
  • Experience with types of geothermal power generation including binary, flash, dry steam, combined cycle, etc.
  • Experience in all aspects of project development and delivery including but not limited to feasibility studies, cost estimating, conceptual and detailed engineering design, commissioning support, Owner’s engineering, plant upgrades post-commissioning, due diligence, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with multi-discipline engineering teams

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $170,400.00 to $223,725.00.

Schedule

This role will be hybrid, full-time, 40 hours/week. Travel will be required.
