Noon Hour Assistant

St. Elizabeth School is seeking a lunchroom supervisor to help serve lunch and ensure a safe, caring, and orderly environment for students during their lunch hour and recess breaks.

Responsibilities

• Serve food portions to students
• Supervise students indoors while they eat in classrooms or designated area
• Enforce school rules, such as remaining on school grounds and no food sharing due to allergies
• Help students clean up their eating areas
• Clean up the serving area, including washing dishes

Requirements

• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
• Must provide a clear Police Information Check with a Vulnerable Sector Check and a clear Child Intervention Record Check upon hire
• Ability to communicate effectively and positively with children, school staff, and parents
• Exhibit respect and sensitivity towards Catholic beliefs and practices embraced by students and staff

Schedule

• 4 days a week
• 11:00 am – 2:00 pm

Pay

$15.00 per hour
