About the role

We are looking to appoint a Midday Assistant to join our happy and friendly school. The role requires the supervision of children at lunchtime, helping them to the dining room, encouraging young children to eat their food, assisting with the development of good table manners, and organising playground games.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children during lunchtime
• Escort children to the dining room
• Encourage young children to eat their food
• Assist with the development of good table manners
• Organise playground games to ensure a happy lunchtime experience
• Maintain a positive approach to behaviour management
• Ensure lunchtimes remain a safe and positive experience for all children

Requirements

• Enjoy organising playground games
• Positive approach to behaviour management
• Qualification or interest in First Aid Training

Pay

Scale 1 SCP 3 – £24,795 (actual annual gross salary: £3,623)

Schedule

1.25 hours per day, 39 weeks per year
