About the role
Supporting staff and students by monitoring student activities, setting up the cafeteria before, during, and after lunch, and assisting children during each school lunch session.
Responsibilities
- Assist children when entering the cafeteria during their lunch period in an orderly fashion.
- Receive children from the classroom teachers for the lunch period.
- Make sure each child receives utensils, milk, juice, and other supplies.
- Assure that children empty their trays when finished.
- Assure the children line up for recess or next activity at the appointed time.
- Report 30 minutes prior to the first lunch session and remain 30 minutes after the last session to ensure the cleanliness and order of the cafeteria.
- Assist as needed or instructed by the Administrator.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work well with teachers, students, and administrators.

- Ability to sit, stand, walk, speak, hear, use hands, fingers, reach with hands and fingers.

- Visual ability requires mono and color vision, close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Pay
$15 per hour
Schedule
- 10-month work year.
- Part-time, in-person.
- Hours vary by school.
