Noodle Line Cook

As a Noodle Line Cook, you help bring some of Din Tai Fung’s most beloved dishes to life.

About the role

In this role, you’ll prepare our signature noodle dishes following Din Tai Fung’s recipes, cook times, techniques, and plating standards to ensure every plate meets the quality and consistency our guests expect. You’ll start by checking ingredient quality, preparing and cutting garnishes, and setting up your station for service. Throughout the shift, you’ll focus on precision and teamwork while maintaining a clean, organized station.

• Properly label items in compliance with health department regulations and company procedures
• Participate in monthly staff and noodle department meetings as part of your continued growth and development

Responsibilities

• Keep all kitchen areas clean and sanitized
• Organize items within the walk-in coolers and freezers
• Lift/move boxes, bags, chairs, and tables (up to 50 pounds)
• Assist with regular deep cleaning of the kitchen
• Maintain confidentiality regarding all proprietary information, including but not limited to recipes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Requirements

• Friendly, energetic, and highly motivated with a positive and professional attitude
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Experience preferred but not required
• Open availability
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Must be 18 years of age or older and able to provide documentation to work in the United States legally
