About the role
The Noodle Bar Server enhances the guest experience by providing premiere guest service in a timely and friendly manner. The Noodle Bar Server initiates conversations with guests, anticipates guest’s needs, and seeks opportunity to build relationships and create a memorable interaction. Ensures the cleanliness and sanitation of all work areas and equipment in accordance with Health Department standards.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently and accurately takes and delivers beverage orders in a timely and friendly manner.
- Handles cash and credit transactions associated with beverage sales, accurately and efficiently.
- Provides appropriate change to guests.
- Proactively seeks guest opportunities and anticipates guest’s needs to create “magical moments.”
- Interacts with guests in a friendly manner while taking orders, to include up-selling.
- Maintain product inventory and supplies including garnishes, glassware, ice, and miscellaneous service supplies throughout shift.
- Ensure the service area is properly set up at the beginning of the shift and close the service area at the end of the shift in accordance with Company standards.
- Ensure receipt of accurate payments, balance cash drawer during shift, and maintain security and accuracy of bank.
- Provide BIG Service to internal and external guests and ensure their complete satisfaction, inclusive of greeting and interacting with guests in a friendly and enthusiastic manner, anticipating and meeting guest needs and preferences, remaining calm and professional when dealing with guests that are difficult or upset.
Requirements
- High school diploma or its equivalent.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must pass all required pre-screening and background checks.
- Internal candidates must meet the eligibility requirements as provided in the Transfer and Promotion policy.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including day, swing, late-night, weekend, and holiday shifts as scheduled.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license.
