Nontenure Faculty Pool - Geography & Environmental Studies

About the Role

This is a pool of candidates for possible temporary/nontenured faculty positions to teach one to four courses per semester. Teaching appointments are based on student demand and are made on a semester-by-semester basis. Eligibility for annual reappointment depends on satisfactory performance evaluations, continuity of funding, and departmental need.

Successful candidates may teach at the San Marcos and Round Rock campuses and/or online, depending on departmental needs. This posting covers the summer 2026, fall 2026, spring 2027, and summer 2027 semesters.
