About the role
The Nonprofit VP of Finance is responsible for overseeing financial operations, strategic planning, and compliance within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Develop and implement financial strategies that align with organizational goals.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
- Manage relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment on financial matters.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in finance or a related field.
- Proven track record of successful financial management and strategic planning.
- Experience in nonprofit or public sector finance preferred.
