About the role
The Nonconventional Machining auditor position is an excellent opportunity for recent retirees or consultants with experience in Electrochemical Machining (ECM), Electrochemical Grinding (ECG), Electrochemical Drilling, Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) or Laser Beam Machining (LBM).
Responsibilities
- Enjoy traveling domestically and/or internationally
- Flexible schedule (some auditors perform 1 or 2 audits a month, while others desire to audit every week)

Requirements
- BS degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science, Chemistry or Related Field
- Minimum two (2) years of "hands on" experience (preferably in the Aerospace Industry) with one or more of the following non-conventional machining processes: Electrochemical Machining (ECM), Electrochemical Grinding (ECG), Electrochemical Drilling, Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) or Laser Beam Machining (LBM)
- Field auditing experience (Aerospace Industry Preferred)
- Understanding of SAE, AMS and Prime Contractor non-conventional machining specifications
- Understanding of General Quality Systems requirements (AS9100)
