The Knight Foundation School of Computing and Information Sciences (KF-SCIS) is a rapidly growing program at Florida International University (FIU) in Miami, Florida. KF-SCIS currently contains:

  • 62 faculty members
  • Over 4,200 students, including roughly 100 Ph.D. students, and 300 M.S. students
  • Expanding research, education and outreach programs
  • Degrees in Computer Science (BA, BS, MS, PhD), Cybersecurity (BS, MS), Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (BS, MS), and Information Technology (BS, MS)
  • Six research centers with first-class computing and support infrastructure
  • Broad and dynamic industry and international partnerships

Job Information

The Knight Foundation School of Computing and Information Sciences (KF-SCIS) is seeking candidates for multiple non-tenure-track, open-rank, teaching faculty positions. Successful candidates are expected to teach a variety of courses offered by the school. A terminal degree in computer science or related discipline is required. Those interested in teaching in the following areas are particularly encouraged to apply, though we still welcome potential faculty for any one of our courses:
