Responsibilities
- Perform polysomnography studies and positive airway pressure titrations.
- Patient education, preparation, monitoring, and data collection and analysis.
- Communicate relevant information to the Coordinator in a timely manner.
- Care for up to three patients per night.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Experience in sleep studies preferred.
- Eligible for credentials in CPSGT, RPSGT, RST, or SDS.
- Current Basic Life Support certification.
- Good computer literacy skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to score sleep studies independently while performing live sleep studies.
Qualifications
- Must be able to coordinate three patients per night.
- Requires an ability to follow prescribed techniques, policies, and procedures.
- Requires the capability of paying close attention to detail.
- Requires the ability to assess and respond to changes in patient condition.
- Exposure to blood and body fluids on a daily basis.
