About the Role

The Title I Non-public Reading and Math Interventionist will travel to and provide supplemental instruction to Parkway students that attend qualifying non-public schools. This part-time position is funded through Title I funds, offering 5-15 hours per week primarily during the school day, depending on student eligibility. The schedule will be developed collaboratively with Parkway and the nonpublic schools and may include support for students during and outside of school hours based on need and availability.

Work Environment

Works in non-public schools. Travel between schools is required, and mileage will be reimbursed per district policy.

Responsibilities

  • Provide supplemental reading and math instruction to eligible students.
  • Collaborate with Parkway and nonpublic schools to develop and implement instructional schedules.
  • Support students during and outside of school hours as needed.

Requirements

  • Current certification(s) covering Kindergarten through 5th grade issued by Missouri Department of Education (DESE).
  • Broad knowledge of curriculum, instruction, and assessment.
  • Extensive knowledge of Missouri Learning Standards.
  • Knowledge of various instructional delivery models.
  • Knowledge of research-based and evidence-based instructional strategies.

Pay

$25.00/hour

Schedule

Approximately 5-15 hours per week, primarily during the school day.

This position is paid 100% by Title I funds. Should funds no longer be available or non-public consultation results in changes, the position may be eliminated to meet the needs of non-public students.
