We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an NPO Management. This is an unpaid volunteer opportunity.
About the role
- Assist in day-to-day administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, managing emails, and organizing files and documents.
- Support fundraising and development efforts by conducting donor outreach to cultivate and maintain relationships.
- Research and identify grant opportunities, and assist with grant writing.
- Plan and coordinate fundraising events to engage the community and increase contributions.
- Help maintain donor and volunteer databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
- Aid in preparing reports, presentations, and materials for board meetings, staff meetings, and external stakeholders.
- Support creating marketing materials.
- Research non-profit best practices, industry trends, and funding opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support various projects and initiatives as needed.
Responsibilities

Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recent graduate from a relevant degree program in non-profit organization management, business administration, public administration, social work, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented and resourceful, with a proactive and can-do attitude.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), Google Apps (e.g., Google Drive, Google Docs), online meeting platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet).
- Proficiency in using is a plus.
- Passion for non-profit work and a commitment to making a positive impact in the community.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate fluently in Chinese is a plus.
