We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an NPO Management. This is an unpaid volunteer opportunity.

About the role

  • Assist in day-to-day administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, managing emails, and organizing files and documents.
  • Support fundraising and development efforts by conducting donor outreach to cultivate and maintain relationships.
  • Research and identify grant opportunities, and assist with grant writing.
  • Plan and coordinate fundraising events to engage the community and increase contributions.
  • Help maintain donor and volunteer databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Aid in preparing reports, presentations, and materials for board meetings, staff meetings, and external stakeholders.
  • Support creating marketing materials.
  • Research non-profit best practices, industry trends, and funding opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support various projects and initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in or recent graduate from a relevant degree program in non-profit organization management, business administration, public administration, social work, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented and resourceful, with a proactive and can-do attitude.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), Google Apps (e.g., Google Drive, Google Docs), online meeting platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet).
  • Proficiency in using is a plus.
  • Passion for non-profit work and a commitment to making a positive impact in the community.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate fluently in Chinese is a plus.
