About the role

A non-profit organization is seeking an experienced accountant to join their team in Sandy Springs, GA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and be familiar with non-profit financial management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial reports and statements
• Manage and reconcile bank accounts and other financial transactions
• Oversee the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
• Assist in the development and implementation of internal controls and policies
• Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting and analysis

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• CPA certification preferred
• 5+ years of experience in accounting and non-profit financial management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
