Non-Medical Caregiver

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Non-Medical Caregiver to join our team at CareBuilders at Home – Carmel IN. As a cornerstone of our organization, our Non-Medical Caregivers play a vital role in providing non-medical care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical care and support to clients in their homes, including assistance with daily living activities
• Help with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and personal care tasks
• Aid clients with medication reminders and other therapeutic activities
• Build strong relationships with clients and their families, and provide emotional support and companionship
• Document client care and communicate with the care team as needed
• Adapt to changing client needs and priorities
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies and procedures

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous caregiving experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and assist with transfers
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (if applicable)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A compassionate and empathetic approach to client care
