Non-Invasive Cardiology Supervisor

Overview

This is a Telemetry Monitor Technician Supervisor role at Riley Children's Hospital offering a flexible schedule (days/nights) to be determined in collaboration with the department, along with flexible weekend and holiday coverage.

Job description

• Supervises and directs the duties, responsibilities, schedules and daily operations of the non-invasive cardiology team.
• Partners with the department manager to recruit, hire and develop training for the non-invasive cardiology team.
• Solves problems in a collaborative fashion with all team members and department leadership.
• Ensures the provision of 24/7 patient care services by developing effective working relationships with leaders from nursing, clinical engineering and IT services.
• Collaborates with department leaders and contributes to the decision-making process.
• Is available by phone after hours and weekends as needed to support the department.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in cardiac telemetry, EKG or related cardiology field required.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to be self-directed and work independently.
• Requires a high level of interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Requires the ability to promote teamwork and develop team members.
• Requires basic computer operations experience and some familiarity with software programs such as Word; Excel and Outlook.
