Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat human disease, illness and injuries and practice evidence-based medicine.
- Prescribe medically necessary medications and treatments.
- May serve on various Carilion and/or hospital committees.
- Completes necessary documentation for patients Health Information record.
- Delivers high quality, compassionate medical care applying evidence-based medicine to the highest degree possible.
- Examine patients using various medical equipment, instruments and tests.
- Order or perform various tests, analyses and imaging to provide information on patients
