About the role

The Department of Internal Medicine is seeking applications for a full-time faculty position in noninvasive Cardiology at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level.

Responsibilities

• Patient care in the outpatient setting
• Supervision and interpretation of diagnostic studies
• Supervision and teaching of Cardiology Fellows, Internal Medicine Residents and Medical Students

Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. degree and successfully completed an ACGME accredited Internal Medicine Residency training, and an ACGME accredited Cardiology Fellowship training
• Board certified or board eligible in Cardiology prior to the start date
• Nevada State Board of Pharmacy license and DEA License
• Nevada medical license must be obtained prior to the start date

Qualifications

• Ability to possess and maintain a Nevada State Board of Pharmacy license and DEA License
• Ability to obtain privileges at the University Medical Center (UMC) and other site locations as needed
