Non-Invasive Cardiologist (Open Rank NTT)

About the Role

The Department of Medicine and the Division of Cardiology at the University of Illinois, College of Medicine (Chicago) are seeking a part-time Non-Invasive Cardiologist Faculty. This position supports the University of Illinois Chicago/UI Health care system and includes significant opportunities for resident and fellow education, as well as patient care for a traditionally underserved population.

Responsibilities

• Focus on clinical echocardiography (Level 2 or 3), nuclear medicine, cardiac CT, and/or cardiac MRI.
• Support the inpatient cardiology service and outpatient cardiology clinic.
• Provide resident and fellow education as an integral component of the academic faculty role.
• Contribute to an active academic division through clinical, scholarly, educational, and personal skills.
• Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Completion of an ACGME-accredited cardiology fellowship program.
• Board-certification (or board-eligible) in General Cardiology.
• Advanced imaging training in CT or cardiac MRI is preferred.
• MD/DO degree.

Pay

The budgeted salary range for the position is $186,150 to $196,350 at 51% FTE. The final salary offer will be determined through a thorough assessment of market data, internal equity, candidate experience, qualifications, and budget constraints.
