Non-Invasive Cardiologist - Open Rank
The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Virginia, School of Medicine, seeks candidates for an open rank, open track, Non-Invasive Cardiologist position. Rank and tenure status will be determined based on qualifications.
About the role
The incumbent will provide general, non-invasive cardiovascular services with an emphasis on inpatient and outpatient general cardiology. There is an opportunity to focus on women's heart health, cardio-OB, or cardio-oncology for applicants with relevant experience. Research opportunities commensurate with experience and interest may also be accommodated.
Responsibilities
- Provide general, non-invasive cardiovascular services in inpatient and outpatient settings
- Actively participate in the teaching program with cardiology fellows and medical house staff
Requirements
- MD or equivalent
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiovascular Medicine by appointment start date
