About the role
The Inova Schar Heart and Vascular is seeking a board certified/eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join their Central location team. This physician will further develop a growing clinical practice that drives volume for Inova’s cardiac diagnostic and imaging center and will take call at those locations.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality medical care to Inova Health System patients
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
- Conduct comprehensive medical exams, make diagnoses, develop treatment plans, and provide education and guidance to patients on disease prevention and management
Requirements
- Education: Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited institution
- Experience: Successful completion of Internal Medicine residency program and a Cardiology fellowship
- Licensure: Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Virginia
- Certification: Board eligible or board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular disease, and Basic Life Support (BLS) upon start
- Payer Credentialing: Ability to successfully complete the credentialing process by third-party payors
- Medical Staff Credentialing: Successful completion of credentialing for Medical Staff membership and appropriate clinical privileges sufficient to perform all required services
Qualifications
