NON - INVASIVE CARDIOLOGIST

About the role

The Independent Health System is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join their well-established, collaborative, and multidisciplinary cardiovascular team at Westmoreland Hospital.

Responsibilities

• Balanced mix of inpatient and outpatient clinical responsibilities
• Limited coverage at other system locations
• Supporting a healthy work-life balance
• Active participation in multidisciplinary cardiovascular clinics
• Quality improvement initiatives
• Shared call coverage

Requirements

• Board certification or board eligibility in Non-Invasive Cardiology
• Strong expertise in non-invasive cardiovascular diagnostics, including echocardiography, stress testing, ambulatory cardiac monitoring, and nuclear cardiology
• Experience with coronary CT angiography and cardiac MRI interpretation is welcomed but not required
• Guideline-directed, evidence-based cardiovascular care consistent with ACC/AHA standards

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Current medical license in good standing
• Successful completion of an accredited ACGME/ACGME-approved residency program in Internal Medicine or Pediatrics
