Non-Invasive Cardiologist
About the role
This is a unique opportunity to join a premier cardiovascular group that delivers advanced, patient-centered care across various clinical settings. The ideal candidate will be proficient in treating heart failure, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and coronary artery disease and board-certified in echocardiography. Board certification in nuclear cardiology is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Treatment of heart failure, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and coronary artery disease
- Proficiency in echocardiography
- Proficiency in nuclear cardiology (optional)
- Performing complex high-risk interventions (CHIP), including chronic total occlusions and mechanical circulatory support
- Conducting peripheral vascular interventions
- Managing venous ablation and congenital heart disease
- Providing advanced heart failure and LVAD/transplant care
- Offering coronary CT angiography
- Implementing electrophysiology, including leadless pacemakers, device implantation, and arrhythmia ablations
Requirements
Candidates must have a current, unrestricted medical license to practice in Virginia. Board certification in non-invasive cardiology is required. Experience in acute coronary care, cardiac catheterization, and complex high-risk interventions is preferred.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in non-invasive cardiology and a passion for providing exceptional patient care. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach are essential.
Skills
Proficiency in echocardiography and nuclear cardiology (optional).
