Duties and Responsibilities
- Transporting patients and clients utilizing company vehicles in a safe and professional manner
- Assisting with boarding and exiting, and securement of client and wheelchair according to industry standards.
- Effectively communicate with dispatch regarding schedule progress and to receive instructions.
- Maintain a professional image and attitude in regard to clients, visitors and co-workers.
- Aid clients and patients as needed to safely complete the transfer.
- Complete daily vehicle pre-trip and post trip inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
- Must be able to understand and operate vehicle dispatch system.
Requirements
- Pass pre-employment and random drug test (includes testing for marijuana)
- Have a good driving record.
- Pass a background check including driving and non-driving criminal offenses.
- Physically able to step up and down steps, safely secure clients for transport, lift 50 lbs. plus, and transport wheelchair patients on paved and unpaved surfaces.
- Valid Oregon driver’s license.
- At least 25 years of age.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with a diverse patient population.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Driving: 3 years (required)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
License/Certification
- Valid driver's license (required)
- Clean Driving Record
- CDL license (optional)
Shift Availability
- Day Shift (preferred)
- Night Shift (preferred)
- Overnight Shift (preferred)
Work Location
- Primarily on the road

$17.25 per hour.
Schedule
Monday to Friday 12+hour days and up to 400 miles per shift
