About the role

Based in our high-tech production facility in Marshalltown, Iowa, you'll be part of a team that manufactures large, custom-designed control valves used in critical applications around the world. This role will start in 1st shift for the first 2 to 3 years. It will then transition into a 2nd shift role.

Responsibilities

  • Receive hands-on training and mentorship to learn how to:
    • Perform ultrasonic, radiographic, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, and visual inspections on in-process materials.
    • Ensure products meet quality standards using industry-recognized testing methods.
    • Collaborate with operations, suppliers, and customers to maintain high-quality outcomes.
    • Support and maintain NDE documentation, certifications, and compliance records.
    • Help keep our NDE facility organized, safe, and efficient.
    • Participate in audits and contribute to process improvements.

Requirements

  • A degree, diploma, certificate, or coursework in a related technical field (e.g., manufacturing, engineering, industrial technology), or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • A basic understanding of inspection or quality control concepts is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with NDE methods or certifications (ASNT, AWS).
  • Experience in a manufacturing or quality-focused environment.
  • Knowledge of industry standards (ASME, ANSI, ISO 9000).

Pay

Commensurate with experience.

Schedule

1st shift for the first 2 to 3 years, transitioning to 2nd shift.
