About the role
Here’s a totally different kind of non-clinical career self-created by a clever physician entrepreneur. Dr. Rahul Gokhale is a 2006 graduate of the Orthopaedic Surgery residency program at the University of Cincinnati and co-founder of Resident to Resident (R2R) Real Estate, LLC, a novel approach to providing real estate for students, residents and fellows.
Responsibilities
- Co-founder and CEO of Resident to Resident Real Estate, LLC
- Create and manage a web-based platform for medical students, residents, and fellows to buy and sell real estate
- Develop partnerships with local and national companies to offer exclusive discounts and services to R2R members
- Recruit businesses to partner with R2R through the R2R Affiliate Program
- Provide honest advice to residents and students moving into their ideal homes
- Aim to create a virtual marketplace for local and national businesses to capture the physician-in-training market
Requirements
Entrepreneurial spirit, strong communication skills, familiarity with medical real estate market, ability to build and maintain relationships with businesses and medical professionals.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited medical school
- Experience in real estate or healthcare industry preferred
- Strong understanding of medical real estate market
