Non-Clinical Adjunct Faculty Health Sciences - Instructor

What you’ll do

• Teach and/or coordinate online graduate courses in public health or health administration related to area of content expertise.
• Seek and evaluate innovative educational methodologies to improve teaching and learning activities.
• Modify course content, assessments, and/or teaching style based on assessment results, professional development experience, and curricular mapping results.
• Participate in departmental course peer-review process.
• Participate in instructor evaluation, assessment of student academic achievement, and demonstrate modification of teaching techniques in accordance with assessment feedback.
• Serve as an academic advisor for Public Health and / or Health Administration students if applicable.

What we are looking for

• A faculty member with the appropriate graduate degree, (e.g., MPH, MHA, MSHA, MPA, PhD, EdD, etc.) in public health or health administration or closely related discipline relevant to the department's academic curricula.
• Familiarity with innovative teaching methodologies and effective student evaluation methods.
• Membership in good standing in appropriate professional organizations.
• Candidates located in Iowa are preferred; however, applicants from Wisconsin, Illinois, Missouri, or Indiana may also be considered.
