Job Responsibilities
- Work under the direction of the Course Coordinator, Dean of Health Science, or the Assistant Dean of Nursing.
- Participate in clinical instruction as designated by the Course Coordinator, Assistant Dean of Nursing, and or Dean of Health Science.
- Serve as a supervisor and assistant to nursing students during clinical laboratory experiences.
- Select clients for student clinical experience.
- Attend and participate in meetings as scheduled by the Course Coordinator to ensure consistency between course content and clinical experiences.
- Collaborate with the Course Coordinator in developing appropriate clinical experiences.
- Assist in evaluating student progress and maintaining appropriate records.
- Evaluate student progress and review the curriculum and specific course content to facilitate student progress.
- Adhere to course and program objectives and policies, procedures, and standards of WTC, Department of Nursing - Nursing Standards of Care and Code of Ethics.
- Maintain CPR certification, TB screening, and physical/titers/immunization/vaccines annually.
- Submit evidence of a clear background check and drug screens as well as evidence of Care Learning.
Minimum And Additional Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing and active license as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina or another compact state.
- Minimum of two (2) years clinical experience as a Registered or Advance Practice Nurse related to field of primary responsibility.

- Master's degree in Nursing and active license as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina or another compact state.
- Minimum of two (2) years clinical experience as a Registered or Advance Practice Nurse related to field of primary responsibility.
