Clinical Adjunct Instructor - Health Science

Job Responsibilities

• Work under the direction of the Course Coordinator, Dean of Health Science, or the Assistant Dean of Nursing.
• Participate in clinical instruction as designated by the Course Coordinator, Assistant Dean of Nursing, and or Dean of Health Science.
• Supervise and assist students in clinical laboratory experience.
• Select clients for student clinical experience.
• Attend and participate in meetings as scheduled by the Course Coordinator.
• Affirm course and program objectives and collaborate with the Course Coordinator in developing appropriate clinical experiences.
• Participate in the student’s clinical evaluation process.
• Utilize appropriate instructional resources to facilitate student progress toward meeting objectives.
• Evaluate student progress and maintain appropriate records.
• Review the curriculum and specific course content to facilitate student progress toward meeting objectives.

Minimum And Additional Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing and active license as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina or another compact state.
• Minimum of two (2) years clinical experience as a Registered or Advance Practice Nurse related to field of primary responsibility.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Master's degree in Nursing and active license as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina or another compact state.
• Minimum of two (2) years clinical experience as a Registered or Advance Practice Nurse related to field of primary responsibility.
