Job Responsibilities
- Work under the direction of the Course Coordinator, Dean of Health Science, or the Assistant Dean of Nursing.
- Participate in clinical instruction as designated by the Course Coordinator, Assistant Dean of Nursing, and or Dean of Health Science.
- Supervise and assist students in clinical laboratory experience.
- Select clients for student clinical experience.
- Attend and participate in meetings as scheduled by the Course Coordinator.
- Affirm course and program objectives and collaborate with the Course Coordinator in developing appropriate clinical experiences.
- Participate in the student’s clinical evaluation process.
- Utilize appropriate instructional resources to facilitate student progress toward meeting objectives.
- Evaluate student progress and maintain appropriate records.
- Review the curriculum and specific course content to facilitate student progress toward meeting objectives.
Minimum And Additional Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing and active license as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina or another compact state.
- Minimum of two (2) years clinical experience as a Registered or Advance Practice Nurse related to field of primary responsibility.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree in Nursing and active license as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina or another compact state.
- Minimum of two (2) years clinical experience as a Registered or Advance Practice Nurse related to field of primary responsibility.
