Non CDL Fuel Delivery Driver

About the role
We are hiring a driver to meet our growing business and customer needs. As a family-owned and operated company, we are looking for quality drivers to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate and maintain a fuel delivery truck to transport and deliver fuel to various client locations.
- Plan and execute efficient delivery routes to meet customer demands and delivery schedules.
- Load and unload bulk fuel using appropriate equipment and follow established safety protocols.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the proper functioning of the delivery vehicle.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date delivery records, including quantities delivered, locations, and customer signatures.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and concerns professionally during delivery stops.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to coordinate delivery schedules and optimize routes for efficiency.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, including the proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues promptly, and work with the maintenance team to ensure timely repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery truck, ensuring it is stocked with necessary supplies and equipment.
Requirements
- Clean background with no felonies.
- Valid Class C driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual tasks and operate delivery equipment.
- Operating and reliable cell phone (Dispatch and GPS coordinates).
Qualifications
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
Schedule
- Able to work a rotating schedule (typically 5/2).
- May have to work weekends and holidays.
- Availability to travel for disaster response is a plus.
This position is not eligible for relocation and involves local and regional travel.
