Non-CDL Driver - Touch - $23.60 - $24/hr

About the Position

Our client is seeking Non-CDL Touch Freight Drivers to provide local delivery service throughout New England. This role involves delivering electronics and other products with a high level of care, including white glove service and hands-on loading and unloading.

Pay

$23.60–$24.00 per hour with overtime available after 40 hours.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. start, 8-hour shifts.

Job Details

• Local routes throughout New England
• Freight: electronics and related products
• Equipment: 16-foot box truck, refrigerated box truck, or cargo van
• Handling: touch freight and full white glove delivery service
• Deliveries may be made to small offices and warehouses
• Products may be unloaded using a liftgate, electric pallet jack, pallet jack, or hand cart

Responsibilities

• Safely operate assigned non-CDL delivery vehicles
• Load, transport, and unload products throughout New England
• Perform liftgate and touch freight deliveries
• Break down pallets and move freight using pallet jacks or hand carts
• Provide professional white glove service at each delivery location
• Handle electronics and other products carefully to prevent damage
• Follow all applicable safety procedures and delivery instructions

Requirements

• 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
• At least 3 months of white glove liftgate delivery experience
• Valid medical card
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
• Ability to safely lift, move, and unload freight using material-handling equipment
• Strong customer service and communication skills
