About the Position

TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver for a local mail-delivery position supporting routes in Akron, Ohio. This role involves hauling rolling carts of mail with light-touch freight handling and driver-unload responsibilities.

Pay

• $32.56 per hour
• $28.56 per hour
• $28.01 per hour
• Health and welfare benefit of $5.36 per hour

Schedule

• Sunday start time: 5:00 a.m., four-hour days
• Saturday start time: 2:00 p.m., five-hour days

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a CDL A commercial vehicle on local mail routes
• Transport rolling carts of mail between post offices
• Complete driver-unload duties at designated locations
• Follow all applicable transportation and safety regulations
• Provide professional and reliable service at each stop

Requirements

• CDL Class A license
• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
