Principal Duties And Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to complete assigned deliveries and pickups.
- Deliver and pick up produce, frozen, and dry food products to member agencies, suppliers, donors, and other assigned locations.
- Load and unload trailers using forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and/or hand trucks.
- Inspect products and verify quantities, expiration dates, and shipment accuracy.
- Obtain shipping bills and necessary signatures for all deliveries and pickups.
- Complete and return all required paperwork and electronic logs accurately and on time.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections including checking oil, water, fuel, and tire pressure.
- Remove empty pallets and return them to designated areas.
- Communicate effectively with transportation leadership regarding route updates, issues, or customer needs.
- Provide professional and courteous customer service in all interactions with partners, agencies, donors, and team members.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Safe driving record required (no DUIs, DWIs, or major accidents within the past 24 months).
- 18 years or older.
- Able to pass a drug test.
- Able to pass a standard background check.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to use mobile electronic devices for communication and documentation.
- Able to safely complete multiple deliveries and pickups daily.
- Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills.
- Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with a diverse team.
- Professional, detail-oriented, and customer service-focused attitude.

Compensation and Benefits
Compensation for this role is $23.50/hr, with a $3,000 Sign-On Bonus paid in increments and Quarterly Safety Bonuses.
