Non-CDL Driver - Aloha Produce

Aloha Produce is a privately owned produce wholesaler in Central Oregon, focused on quality and community. We hire dedicated individuals passionate about food, supply chain, and their community to help enhance our region through quality produce.

About the role

You will be primarily responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of produce to customers in our Central Oregon delivery area. This is a safety-sensitive position.

Responsibilities

• Accurately check invoices as you make deliveries.
• Load and unload product from trailer.
• Attention to detail in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
• Perform superior customer service as you interact with customers at each delivery.
• Assist in issuing credit memos and collecting payment for COD customers.
• Promote and maintain a flexible, cooperative, team-oriented, and customer-focused attitude with colleagues.
• Ensure professionally maintained, reliable, and safe equipment.
• Deliver palletized product to a dock or with a lift gate.
• All other duties as requested or assigned.

Requirements

• Be 23 years or older due to insurance requirements.
• 1+ year of driving experience highly preferred.
• Valid Class C (Non-CDL) license and medical card.
• Interstate qualification, registered.
• Demonstrated ability to lift/push/pull 50+ lbs. throughout shift.
• Ability to read and understand English per DOT rules.
• Satisfactory driving record.

All job offers for this position are contingent upon passing a criminal background check, pre-employment drug screen (includes THC), and company road test.

Pay

The pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors including, but not limited to, the individual’s qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as physical work location within the state. Potential 90-day performance-based raise and annual review with possibility of increase based on performance and tenure.

Schedule

5AM start time, with Monday and Saturday off (split days).
