Non-CDL Delivery Driver

About the role

MedTrans is Medline's private fleet of professional drivers that delivers lifesaving medical products directly to both commercial and residential customers. Our fleet consists of 1,900+ trucks featuring newer equipment, managing a network of over 50 distribution centers nationally, and providing 1-day shipping to 95% of the United States.

The Delivery Driver plays a critical role in building positive relationships with customers by ensuring timely, accurate, and safe deliveries of medical products using a parcel van and/or straight truck.

Starting pay for this role is $22.25/hr.

Responsibilities

• Load and secure product from the Medline Facility into a parcel van and/or straight truck.
• Safely operate a parcel van and/or straight truck between the Medline Facility and multiple customer destinations on a delivery route.
• Abide by Medline’s safety regulations, including wearing safety equipment where needed and performing safety checks.
• Unload and deliver products at customer facilities, ensuring timely deliveries.
• Provide in-person support to customers—addressing questions, needs, and providing appropriate documentation upon delivery.
• Communicate with the dispatching team regarding necessary adjustments to the delivery route or schedule to meet customer needs and maintain safe operations.
• Maintain a travel and cargo log in accordance with Federal and State regulations and company policy.
• Perform vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation and sufficient fuel levels for continued use.

Requirements

• Valid US driver’s license.
• Valid Commercial Learner’s Permit (CLP) for Class B License if required by state.
• Ability to meet Federal and State requirements for operation of commercial motor vehicles.
• Clean driving record with no serious violations.

Pay

Anticipated salary range: $19.75 - $28.75 per hour. The actual salary will vary based on location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
