Non-CDL & CDL B Delivery Driver

About the role

Miller Transportation Group is a rapidly growing leader in the transportation industry, family‑owned and operated since 1912, headquartered in Lumberton, New Jersey, serving the Northeastern United States. Its business units include Miller Truck Leasing, Miller Dealerships, Miller Dedicated Services, and Miller Brokerage Services. Miller Dedicated Services is currently seeking Non‑CDL and CDL B Drivers for its Newburgh/Rock Tavern, NY location to deliver produce to retail stores, offering career‑long opportunities for professional drivers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver produce to retail stores in northern New Jersey, Connecticut, New York (including a few stores in NYC), and northeastern Pennsylvania.
• Break down pallets and unload produce using a hand cart.
• Stack and leave delivered items in the store refrigerator.

Requirements

• Experience driving a 26‑foot straight truck.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to break down pallets to hand carts for individual deliveries, drop items in the cooler and scan them.
• Averaging 8‑10 hours of work daily.
• Ability to pass criminal background checks, physical and DOT drug test.
• Ability to work Monday‑Saturday (with one weekday plus Sunday off).
• Start time is 5:00 AM daily.
• Ability to deliver to stores in northern NJ, CT, NY (few stores in NYC), and northeast PA.

Pay

$225 Non‑CDL daily rate or $250 CDL B daily rate, plus multiple bonuses with the potential to earn up to an additional $70 per day. Overall pay range is $225.00‑$295.00 per day.

Schedule

Monday – Saturday (6 days/week); start time 5:00 AM; average shift 8‑10 hours; one weekday plus Sunday are days off.
