Non-CDL BOX TRUCK DRIVER Medical Waste Containers (5AM-3PM) **$3k Sign-On Bonus!**

About the role

Daniels Health is offering a $3,000 new hire bonus for joining our team in Stow, OH. You will operate a 26-foot box truck to collect sharps and medical waste containers from healthcare customer locations across the Stow area while delivering a high level of customer service. This role offers a high degree of autonomy, stable hours, access to overtime, and good benefits. Our modern, well-maintained vehicle fleet is supplied with above-standard PPE for safe handling of medical waste.

Responsibilities

• Safely collecting, delivering, and storing medical waste containers at customer locations
• Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships
• Operating vehicles safely, including box trucks up to 26 feet
• Completing deliveries on schedule and communicating changes or challenges
• Loading and unloading containers
• Prioritizing and organizing truck contents per schedule and operational needs
• Managing routes per leadership direction to deliver timely, efficient, and effective service
• Complying with DOT regulations, logging hours, and preparing for roadside inspections
• Performing heavy lifting as required

Requirements

• DOT medical card
• Delivery experience within any industry involving manual handling (advantageous but not mandatory)
• Willingness to work full-time hours, approximately 40 hours per week
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations
• Passing a 7-year FADV review in the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse
• Experience operating a 26-foot box truck or larger
• A flexible, can-do attitude with a strong customer focus
• Experience operating large vehicles safely
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, and roadside inspections
• Confidence in passing roadside inspections at Level 1 through Level 3
• Proven longevity in past employment
• On-time delivery practices

Pay

Competitive hourly rate of $24.00 per hour (non-negotiable, non-CDL position).
