Job Summary

We are seeking a Non CDL driver with professional box truck driving experience to collect and deliver medical waste containers across the Des Moines, IA area. The position offers a $3k sign-on bonus for new hires, with $1k paid after 30 days and $2k after 90 days.

About the Role

Safely collect, deliver, and store medical waste containers at customer locations. Provide strong customer service and build positive customer relationships. Operate vehicles safely, manage routes according to leadership directions, and deliver timely, efficient, and effective service.

Responsibilities

  • Safely collect, deliver, and store medical waste containers at customer locations
  • Provide strong customer service and build positive customer relationships
  • Operate vehicles in a safe manner (as large as 26 ft box truck)
  • Complete deliveries to time schedule and clearly communicate changes or challenges as they arise
  • Load and unload, prioritize and organize your truck per schedule and needs
  • Manage a route per leadership's direction
  • Deliver timely, efficient, and effective service
  • Comply with DOT regulations, log hours, and undergo roadside inspections
  • Confident in a road check level 1 through level 3
  • Proven longevity in past employment
  • On time delivery practices

Requirements

  • Valid DOT medical card
  • Delivery experience within a 26 foot box truck
  • Driving within any industry where you have dealt with manual handling
  • Clean driving record
  • A flexible, can-do attitude with a strong customer focus
  • Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, and roadside inspections
  • Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations
  • Prioritize and organize your truck per schedule and needs
  • Manage a route per leadership's direction
  • Deliver timely, efficient, and effective service
  • Comply with DOT regulations, log hours, and undergo roadside inspections
  • Confident in a road check level 1 through level 3
  • Proven longevity in past employment

Benefits

Full-time roles are provided benefits, sick leave, and vacation leave from day one. This is a permanent position of 40 hours per week. Competitive salary of $25.00 per hour with a $3k sign-on bonus for new hires!
