NOHS- Girls Tennis Asst Coach (Spring 2026)

Essential Job Functions

• Assist in promoting sports in the school and community.
• Aid the head coach in planning the athletic program.
• Organize and supervise practices under the direction of the head coach.
• Instruct individual fundamental skills, team plans, strategies, and game rules.
• Inculcate good sportsmanship and self-control among student athletes.
• Evaluate and ensure the eligibility of participants, including insurance and parental consent.
• Model appropriate behavior, provide emotional support, and guide student athletes.
• Conduct learning experiences with small groups of student athletes under the supervision of coaches.
• Recommend purchases of necessary equipment, supplies, and uniforms for the health and safety of student athletes.

Performance Responsibilities

• Assist the head coach in teaching individual fundamental skills, team plan, team strategy and rules and regulations of the game.
• Teach good sportsmanship and self-control to student athletes.
• Check eligibility of participants, including insurance coverage and parent consent.
• Provide emotional support and guidance to student athletes.
• Recommend purchases of necessary equipment, supplies, and uniforms for the health and safety of student athletes.

Terms Of Employment

Employment will be on an as needed basis as determined by the Superintendent and will be subject to review for continuation on an annual basis. Stipend commensurate with adopted Oldham County Schools Extra-Curricular Sponsor Stipend Schedule.
