Girls Assistant Junior Varsity Tennis Coach (August 24 - November 6, 2026)

About the role

This part-time, seasonal, stipend position begins on August 24, 2026 and ends on November 6, 2026, although planning and communication outside of the season is required. The season includes several holidays including Labor Day, Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, and Indigenous People’s Day.

Responsibilities

- Significant experience participating in and/or coaching competitive tennis. - Strong organizational skills. - Embrace and uphold team values such as positive sportsmanship, character, compassion, and integrity. - Experience in teaching tennis concepts at intermediate to advanced levels. - Experience in effectively managing relationships with athletes, coaches, and parents. - Attend practices and games.

Requirements

- A Bachelor’s degree is preferred. - Collegiate tennis playing experience is a plus. - Junior Varsity practices occur on weekdays with times varying between 3:30 and 6:00 PM. There are approximately 12 matches, some of which last beyond 6:00 PM.

Schedule
